Psychology Without Borders: A Therapeutic Bridge Between Germany and Congo

On March 30, 2026, the official launch of the ECHO project – Encounters in Cross-Cultural Healing & Observation – will take place. This exchange initiative between Germany and the Republic of Congo is dedicated to psychology and psychiatry from an intercultural perspective.
The program is structured around several key points:
Intercultural exchange in the field of psychology and psychiatry
Immersion and practical observations in Brazzaville (Republic of Congo)
Consideration of cultural and spiritual dimensions in psychological work
Exploration of alternative symbolic languages and archetypes in therapeutic contexts
Promotion of diversity of perspectives and intercultural dialogue

These pillars reflect ECHO’s ambition: to enrich clinical practices through intercultural encounters, encourage critical reflection, and promote a broader understanding of healing processes.
