DAAD Scholarships for Master's and Doctoral Programs in Sub-Saharan African Universities in 2023

DAAD offers full scholarships to nationals from Sub-Saharan Africa to do a Master's or a PhD at a university in the region. For the first time, a Cameroonian university, the University of Dschang, is hosting two of these programmes for which Cameroonian citizens are eligible as "In-Country" applicants.

We invite you to consult the presentation of the initiative "In-Country/In-Region Programme in Developing Countries" on the DAAD website and the different calls for applications with the following link: daad.de/go/en/stipa10000486

DAAD scholarship applicants will also have to apply for admission to the host university and comply with its procedures and deadlines. Unlike in previous years, applications for the DAAD scholarship are submitted directly in through the DAAD Portal without waiting for the pre-selection or admission letter from the university.

The DAAD Information Centre Yaoundé is organising a webinar on the DAAD Scholarships "In-Country/In-Region Programme in Developing Countries" on Tuesday, 01 November 2022 from 14:00 to 15:30. You will be able to participate by logging in with the following link through the MS Teams application : https://teams.live.com/meet/9418313791391

Our colleagues at the DAAD Nairobi regional office are offering additional webinars, for which you can find the calendar attached and also on the following page : https://www.daad-kenya.org/en/about-us/online-seminar-schedule/
